1. Head of Retail Banking, Middle East
A great opportunity to be part of Middle East booming market.
A well-known financial institution in the Middle East is looking for a Head of Retail Banking to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate needs over 15 years of related experience of which a minimum 5-8 years should be in similar
position.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development and subsequent implementation of annual plans by the individual functions comprising Retail Banking
(Retail Channels; Retail Branches Network; International Branches Oversees/ Rep Offices; Branch Quality and Excellence;
Digital; and Segments, Products and Marketing analysis) to ensure achievement of pre-set targets/ objectives, including but
not limited to business growth and expansion.
• Review the Retail Banking function management accounts (comprising the balance sheet, income statement along with the
budgeted figures) on a monthly basis. Monitor Retail Banking portfolio by business segment on overall basis and by product,
nationality/ business profile, employer/ industry, income/ salary levels and other parameters on periodic basis to gauge the
quality and performance of the same.
• Keep the Chief Executive Officer informed of significant Retail Banking related issues that may jeopardize the achievement
of business goals.
• Responsible for the ongoing management of the Retail Banking portfolio within the limits and conditions set by the Board of
Directors/ Relevant Board-level committees and other management level committees.
Requirements:
• University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance, and / or Sales and Marketing from
a recognized university. Professional Certification such as CPA, CA, CFA and/ or CMA or equivalent in years of experience is
preferable.
• MBA/ MSc/ or MA is a plus.
• At least 15 - 20 years of related experience of which a minimum 5-8 years should be in similar position.
• You must have a Regional experience.
