FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
A great opportunity to be part of a well-semi-government organization in Oman, my client is looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their Accounting Team.
Responsibilities:
• Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent ability to interpret financial results and business indicators to identify trends and opportunities and to understand the cause and effect of the environmental factors that impact the business and its financial results
• Lead and participate in all financial operations of the company including reporting, forecasting, invoicing and cash management, accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes that link into the corporate planning requirements in addition to business reviews addressing financial and operating performance. Responsible for summarizing and presenting key findings, recommendations, opportunities, and risks to the Executive Leadership.
Requirements:
• Fully qualified CPA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) with previous financial controls and management reporting experience.
• SAP FICO experience is a MUST (familiarity with PS module and Bl interface is desired).
• 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including 4-6 years in a similar role is a must
• International experience is recommended especially in project accounts.
• Strong core accounting and internal control experience
• Midstream business exposure including financial policy making.
