Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the daily operation of the Company's accounting and financial functions and for significant contributions to the formulation, implementation, and administration of corporate wide finance related policies and Business goals.
• Preparation of monthly, annual, and other financial reports and statements as requested.
• Responsible for the preparation of the Consolidated Financial statements on quarterly or half-yearly basis.
• Presents on a regular basis the financial results, be these management reports or the audited financial statements, highlighting all variances to budget or forecasts with recommendation for remedial action(s).
• Assists subsidiaries with all aspect of financial, accounting, and reporting requirements including frequent visits.
• Provides leadership through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in programs, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience, CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• US, European or Australian trained is an advantage
• Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA - with a strong technical background preferable
• Excellent relationship builder and commercially astute, comfortable partnering with the CEO and COO
• Knowledge of Insurance, Banking or Wealth Management
• Technical expertise in all aspects in all aspects of finance and accounts, including IFRS and IAS with regular updates according to relevant changes in regulations.
